'Idol' Finalist, Angie Miller Discusses Her Final Moments

A lot of "American Idol" fans were surprised when Angie Miller was eliminated Thursday night.  And she got very emotional when she was asked to sing her final song.  But Angie still has Idol work to attend to.  As this year's Number 3 contestant, she'll have a prominent role in the upcoming summer tour.  Angie talks about all of that with Steve Edwards and Maria Sansone on Good Day L.A.

Fun facts about Angie:

  • As of 2013, Miller's parents pastor at Assemblies of God church, known as Remix Church, which is located in Salem, Massachusetts.
  • Miller served as one of the lead singers of the worship band at Remix Church.
  • When Miller was a child, doctors discovered that the protective covering over her eardrum was no longer there. She has had two surgeries to insert tubes in her ears.
  • A month before her American Idol audition in New York in September 2012, she was fitted with silicon spray ear plugs. She is partially deaf, with 20 percent hearing loss in her right ear and 40 percent in her left.
