A four vehicle wreck shut down most of Interstate 30 in far west Fort Worth on Monday afternoon.

A male driver of a pickup truck involved in the wreck was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries, according to Fort Worth officials.

The incident occurred just before noon on Monday, a mile east of the I-20 and I-30 split and involved a cement truck that turned over and three pickup trucks.

Westbound traffic has been diverted onto the service road and eastbound traffic is down to one lane.

Lane closures were expected to last into the afternoon.
