PHOENIX (AP) - Arizona's unemployment rate is holding steady at 7.9%.
Department of Administration economists reported
Thursday that the state added 5,200 nonfarm jobs in April as the
seasonally adjusted jobless rate remained at the same level as in
February and March.
The 7.9% rate in April compares with 8.4% in April 2012.
The department said 6 of the state's 11 economic sectors added jobs in April while four reported losses and one was flat.
