CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

The Chicago Farmer's Market opened for business in Daley Plaza on Thursday, offering fresh fruit, vegetables, plants and flowers to anyone who stops by the downtown set-up.

Locally sourced and homegrown, the city-run markets are selling a wide selection of the finest goodies this city has to offer.

FOX 32 news spoke with Bobby Chang, who runs a business called Seasons Soda. He explained how his tasty Raspberry Mint and Organic Fuji Apple Mint drinks are made.

"It's a raw, all-natural soda company based in Chicago," Chang said. "Basically, our sodas are fresh-pressed juice, slightly carbonated. No added sugars, no preservatives, most of if not all of our fruits are sourced from local farms, and if not, we source from organic family farms."

The farmer's market at Daley Plaza is open until 3 p.m. on Thursday.

The city is also launching night markets this year, which will be set up in the Logan Square and Uptown neighborhoods. For more information, visit the Farmer's Market section of the city's website.
