Super Bowl Boulevard

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

The big game will be played in New Jersey but the big party will be in New York City. Organizers call it "Super Bowl Boulevard": it will stretch from 44th Street on Broadway all the way to 34th Street.

Super Bowl Boulevard will feature nightly concerts, clinics, and even a Super Bowl trophy display. These 10 blocks will serve as the center of all New York's events.

New York City is already considered the commercial and cultural capital of the world. Organizers say hosting the Super Bowl will only bolster the city's image.

NYC & Company CEO George Fertitta says during that time Super Bowl Boulevard will take over 10 blocks of Broadway.

Though planning has started, challenges remain. Unlike most years when activities are within walking distance of the host stadium, New York will have to rely heavily on its public transportation system to move people around to different events.
