Chances Of Storms Continue Across North Texas

Posted: Updated:

A strong capping inversion keeps North Texas from seeing any showers or thunderstorms this afternoon.  A TORNADO WATCH remains in effect for the western portions of the region until 11pm.  It does not include the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.  The atmosphere will remain unsettled for the next several days as thunderstorms remain possible, but once again mostly west of the area.  The largest shot of severe thunderstorms will arrive on Tuesday as a cold front moves through with an advancing dryline.  Some of these storms could become severe with damaging winds.  Temperatures for the next several days will remain around 90 degrees with high humidity.  Stay tuned to FOX 4 for the latest in severe weather developments.
