Spring Storms Still Possible Across North Texas

Posted: Updated:

Severe weather, with tornadoes, continue over portions of Oklahoma and Kansas where Tornado Watches are in effect.  However, it remains all quiet across North Texas.  There are no Watches or Warnings in effect here as of 5:30pm.  Most of North Texas was gripped with muggy and very warm conditions with temperatures in the upper 80s to lower 90s.  The winds were also quite strong, gusting from the south to 35-40mph.  The threat of severe weather will continue across the Dallas/Ft. Worth area on Monday and Tuesday as an upper level trough moves through the central portions of the country.  It appears right now that Tuesday will be the biggest threat for severe storms here in the Metroplex, but we'll continue to monitor this for possible changes.  Stay tuned.
