FORT WORTH -

Two women were burned after they were doused with a flammable liquid and set on fire at a Fort Worth convenience store.

Police say they were inside the Buy & Save convenience store in the 2700 block of Azle Avenue around 2:30 a.m. playing video games when another woman walked in, doused the victims with the liquid, and then set them on fire.

One of the women was flown to Parkland Hospital in Dallas with life threatening burns. The other woman was rushed to another hospital by ambulance. Her injuries were not life threatening. An employee at the store received minor burns when he tried helping the women.

The suspect sped away in a vehicle right after the attack.
