A missing McKinney baby was found safe near the U.S. and Mexico border. Her mother, who's accused of taking her, is in police custody.
McKinney police issued an Amber Alert after 9-month-old Isabella Reyes was allegedly taken by Sandy Alcocer from a home in the 700 block of Railroad Street.
Police said custody of the child was recently given to another family member and Child Protective Services believed she was in danger.
Family of the baby's father said she had been living with them for awhile.
They said Alcocer threatened to take the baby away, but they didn't believe her until she showed up with her boyfriend, the baby's father, this morning.
"She doesn't know anybody else but us really, because ever since she's been born they've been having problems," Monica Reyes, Isabella's aunt, said "She doesn't like being around her mom, she doesn't know her."
Police say the baby was found safe in Laredo, but there are no details on her condition.
Authorities haven't said how the baby will get back to North Texas, but do say she'll likely end up in foster care.
