Police chase ends in Oak Cliff

A man suspected of sexual assault of a child led police on a chase through Tarrant and Dallas County before being arrested in Dallas.

The chase lasted around 30 minutes and began in Tarrant County.

Anthony Cooper, the driver, was wanted in connection with a child sex assault case.

The chase was eastbound on Interstate 30 until Dallas, when the suspect exited and drove on a series of side streets until stopping his vehicle in an Oak Cliff neighborhood.

Police took Cooper into custody without incident.

Cooper was taken back to Ft. Worth to be booked into jail and have charges filed.
