Tarrant County reported its first case of West Nile Virus for 2013 on Friday.
A Fort Worth woman in her 40s contracted the milder form of the virus, according to Tarrant County Public Health officials, called West Nile Fever.
Tarrant County reported its first human case of West Nile in 2012 on June 20 and had 280 total cases last year. Eleven people died from the virus in Tarrant County in 2012.
Dallas County has not reported any human cases of West Nile so far in 2013.
