Early-morning storms in spotty areas from the southeast gave way to more widespread light showers to the west that are pushing NE as the afternoon rolls on. Highs today could get into the mid 90s if we see some clearing after the rain passes, or upper 80s if the showers linger into the afternoon. Best chances for rain will be southwest of the Metroplex.
Tonight, right back down into the upper 70s and drying out after the sun goes down.
Dry and hot for Father's Day with a high around 96° and partly cloudy skies. Winds will be out of the south between 10-20 mph.
Chances of rain return Monday and Tuesday.
