A quiet weather day on Father's Day as daytime highs climbed into the middle 90s with partly sunny skies. The humidity continues to be fairly high as heat index values were in the upper 90s. A weak disturbance will kick off a few showers and thunderstorms on Monday, and then perhaps a better chance for rain on Tuesday as a cold front moves through. Temperatures MAY not get out of the 80s on Tuesday. However, cool air doesn't last long here in North Texas in the month of June as daytime highs will be back into the mid-upper 90s by the end of the week. Dry conditions are expected from Thursday through next weekend.
