A line of storms that moved through North Texas on Monday brought cooler temperatures and much needed rain.
The official amount of rainfall recorded at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport measured .72 inches as of 10 a.m. on Monday morning.
Officials at DFW Airport said there were some delays of up to an hour, but flights were continuing to operate. Dallas Love Field said delays there were only lasting about 15 minutes.
Temperatures were in the low 80s before the storms moved in around 7 a.m. on Monday, but the rain cooled temperatures by more than 10 degrees. Most area readings had temperatures in the upper 60s after the rain moved through.
Today likely won't be our only day of rain this week.
FOX4 meteorologists say there is a 40 percent chance of rain on Tuesday.
