An accident involving a box truck prompted major delays in both directions on the Dallas North Tollway in Plano Thursday morning.
The truck was headed north on the tollway near Parker Road at about 6 a.m.
According to early reports, a car clipped the truck causing its driver to lose control. The truck turned over and hit the median wall hard enough to push it into the southbound lanes.
All northbound lanes of the tollway were shut down, but a few have since reopened. Southbound traffic was also backed up because of the wall in the roadway.
The inside lanes of the tollway were expected to remain closed all morning for repairs to the median.
The driver of the box truck was reportedly taken to the hospital.
