Two members of Dallas ISD superintendent Mike Miles' cabinet are leaving their posts.
The departure of DISD's Chief of Human Capital Management and Chief of Operations makes six cabinet heads that have left the district in the past year.
Miles announced a reorganization of his cabinet on Thursday, with four people joining his team in addition to the two departures.
Chief of Human Capital Management Charles Glover is leaving the district for a job with Bellwether Education Partners, a nonprofit education organization. Chief of Operations Kevin Smelker is retiring.
Miles said in a release he will not name a new Chief of Staff, but rather divide those responsibilities among the cabinet members. Miles' previous Chief of Staff, Jerome Oberlton, resigned in May before being indicted for work at a previous job in Atlanta.
The four new cabinet members are: Dr. James Terry, Chief Financial Officer; Gray Salada, Chief Technology Officer; Carmen Darville, Chief of Human Capital Management; Wanda Paul, Chief of Operations.
All four of the new cabinet members already worked at Dallas ISD.
