Posted: Updated:

A solider from Burleson has been killed in Afghanistan.

Specialist William Moody, 30, was one of four killed Tuesday when enemy forces attacked their unit in Bagram.

According to the Associated Press, the Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack. Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said the militants fired two rockets into the air base.

Spc. Moody was a motor transport operator stationed at Fort Carson, Colo. He had been in the Army since 2004.

This was his third tour of duty in Afghanistan.
