Four horses ran wild on a busy Grand Prairie freeway early Friday morning.
The horses somehow escaped from their home and were spotted around 6:30 a.m. on Interstate 20.
Police were called to get the animals off the interstate and officers eventually cornered the horses at a Shell gas station.
Officials were worried the horses or drivers could get hurt during the unusual situation.
"We had a lot of concerns with... people driving down Interstate 20," said Grand Prairie Det. Lyle Gensler.
Police returned the horses to their owner after being corralled. The owners will not face any charges for the incident.
