Dallas mom who left kids can visit under supervision

Posted: Updated:

A judge is allowing a Dallas mother to see her eight children under supervision while she undergoes counseling.

The mom made news when she left them unattended for hours in April.

Neighbors noticed Taniah Peoples left her children, ages 2 to 12, alone and took them to a Dallas fire station.

Peoples appeared in court Monday for a progress update on her required drug and alcohol counseling.

Peoples must continue the sessions and random drug sessions before she can get her kids back.

The next hearing on her custody status is planned for August.
