A thief smashed his way into the Galleria of Dallas early Wednesday morning and got away with a handful of expensive handbags.
According to a report from the Dallas Police Department, the man made his way into the mall before 6 a.m. by breaking a window with a small hammer. He did the same thing to get into the Louis Vuitton store.
After taking three handbags worth about $10,000, a witness saw him leaving in a white or cream, two-door Dodge car, police said.
Investigators hope surveillance video will help lead them to the suspect.
