Police have arrested a second suspect in the murder of a Villa Rica jewelry store owner. Two other suspects are still being sought.

The arrests are in connection with Wednesday's shooting death of 45-year-old Mitch Mobley at the popular Mobley Jewelry Company off of Highway 61

Eric Billings, 16, of College Park, was arrested less than a quarter-mile from the scene not long after the shooting.

Raphael Rucker, 23, of Atlanta, was arrested on Thursday morning, police announced. He is being held in the Carroll County Jail.

Both face murder and robbery charges.

Deputies believe four men went into Mobley Jewelers with hammers just after 1 p.m.  At some point, shots were fired and the store's owner, Mitch Mobley, was killed.

Ururahy Rodriques, a mixed-martial arts instructor at the DefKon 1 gym, which is located next to the jewelry store, said he saw the four suspects walk by. He said one of the men was carrying a sledgehammer. He then said he heard glass breaking and saw the men run by.

Rodriques said he took off and managed to catch the teen suspect.

The Villa Rica community has been devastated by Mobley's death.  He opened the jewelry store in 1990, and many say it's the only one they would use because he was a well-respected man, friend and a gem in the community.

Funeral plans for Mobley are still pending.

Police have not released surveillance video from the scene yet because they say they don't want to compromise the investigation.  They say they are working strong leads to find the two remaining suspects.

The town of Villa Rica has only seen three murders in the last four years, including Mobley's murder.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call authorities.

Prosecutors considered him their key witness, a longtime Gwinnett developer given immunity to spill what he knew about corruption inside county government. David Jenkins testified before a Gwinnett grand jury in 2010. He also met multiple times with prosecutors. Those interviews were videotaped. Four years later, prosecutors agreed to a no contest plea bargain with former commissioner Kevin Kenerly on one count of bribery. He will serve 10 years on probation and pay a $10,000 fine.
