A police officer who survived a shootout with an accused
rapist was released from the hospital on Monday.
Granbury police officer Chad Davis was released from Harris
Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth around 5 p.m.
"It's been a really tough weekend," Granbury Police Chief
Mitch Galvan said. " It will take a toll for a while."
According to Galvan, Davis wants to attend Tuesday's funeral
for slain deputy Lance McLean. But Davis' attendance will depend on how Davis
Davis has a serious shoulder wound with a large amount of
swelling that still remains. Davis also has
bullet fragments that hit his knee.
