An artist and researcher has created a doll that he says is a more realistic version of Barbie.
Nickolay Lamm with MyDeals.com used a 3D printer to create his doll.
Its body proportions match what the Center for Disease Control and Prevention says is the average size of a 19-year-old woman in America.
On his blog, Lamm said although Barbie is just a toy, she influences young girls who play with her everyday.
"I want to show that average is beautiful. If average Barbie looks good, what's to stop Mattel from making one?" he said.
