Man Steals Tip Jar After Ice Cream Shop Meltdown

Delaware Troopers are looking for the man they say stole a tip jar off the counter of an ice cream shop in Wilmington, Delaware last month.

It all happened around 7:00pm on June 9th at Sweet Lucy's on Concord Pike. the suspect purchased an ice cream and left the shop only to return a short time later complaining that his order took too long and his ice cream had melted.

He demanded a free ice cream, but was denied. The suspect then told employees that he would buy more ice cream.  As his new order was being prepared, the man took the tip jar from the counter.  He used the cash from the tip jar to pay for part of his order.   He then left the store with new his new ice cream, and the tip jar with the leftover money inside.
