Police say a Missouri man with dementia who went missing in the Chicago suburbs has been reunited with his family.

Authorities say 79-year-old Robert Tribbitt of Kansas City, Mo., was reunited with his family Friday. Police say he went missing in Addison on Thursday. Addison Deputy Chief Mike Simo tells the Daily Herald that Tribbitt had no apparent injuries but was taken to a hospital for observation.

Tribbitt was in suburban Chicago with a church group. Simo says police "looked for him all night."
