A 2-year-old boy is in Child Protective Services custody after police said his mother left him outside a Dallas bar.
Diana Salinas was arrested early Sunday.
Police said she went to the bar to confront a man about child support. The two were arguing and he left with her in the bed of his pickup.
She called friends and asked them to retrieve he son from her car at the bar, but they couldn't find him.
Police found him later that morning in an apartment with two witnesses who said they had waited by the car for an adult to return for about 40 minutes.
Salinas now faces charges for family violence assault and child abandonment.
