Dallas police are investigating the murder of an elderly man.
The body of 73-year-old Ernest Lewis was found in his southeast Dallas home Saturday.
Neighbors said he had one leg and needed crutches to walk.
A close friend said he called police after not hearing from Lewis for several days.
"I'm not frightened because I can handle my own. But for a person like that to take advantage of an elderly person like that with one leg, that's no conscious and nothing like that. It's a bad situation," said Donnie Wilson, the victim's friend.
Police did not provide details about the investigation.
No arrests have been made.
