Murder investigators set up road blocks in Saginaw

Posted: Updated:

Investigators were out in full force on Monday in Saginaw as the search for the murderer of a six-year-old girl continued.

Authorities set up road blocks in the neighborhood where Alanna Gallagher lived and where her body was found one week ago. Gallagher was found July 1 murdered and wrapped in a tarp.

Officials stopped drivers to ask questions and look inside their vehicles. The hope was to catch someone or something they missed last week.

Most drivers seemed not to mind the roadblocks.

Gallagher's funeral is Thursday at Calvary Lutheran Church in Richland Hills.

Saginaw police say they continue to receive tips in the case, but so far there has been no arrest.

People with information can call Saginaw police at 682-888-3682 or 682-888-3684. There is also a $10,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
