CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Hope you're hungry! The Taste of Chicago began Wednesday in Grant Park. The iconic event is now a five-day food festival, running through Sunday along the lakefront.

Road closures surrounding Grant Park will cause traffic issues, so please plan alternate routes and allow yourself extra travel time.

The road closures are as follows:

• East Jackson Drive, between South Lakeshore Drive and South Michigan Avenue;

• South Columbus Drive, from East Monroe Street to East Balbo Avenue;

• East Congress Parkway, from the Congress Parkway Circle to South Columbus Drive.

The Taste of Chicago runs Wednesday through Sunday. But the traffic closures, which are already in effect, will last until Monday, according to the statement.
