Man wanted for Trophy Club bank robbery

TROPHY CLUB, Texas -

Police in Trophy Club are trying to identify the man who robbed a bank inside a Tom Thumb grocery store on Wednesday.

The robbery happened at about 2:40 p.m. at the DATCU Credit Union inside the grocery store on Trophy Lake Drive.

The man didn't have a weapon, but passed the teller a note demanding money. He got away with about $4,000.

Surveillance cameras captured an image of him. He is described as a white male in his late 40s or early 50s and a salt and pepper mustache.

He is about 5 feet 8 inches and between 170 and 180 pounds. He was wearing a white baseball cap, sunglasses, a light blue denim long sleeve shirt and light blue pants.

He was last seen leaving the grocery store on foot and heading east.
