East Fort Worth shooting leaves two in critical condition

Posted: Updated:

Fort Worth police are looking for a man who shot two men in east Fort Worth Saturday morning.

Police Capt Charles Ramirez says the shooting happened in the 5300 block of East Rosedale just before 5am Saturday morning. Homicide detectives were called to the scene to aid in the investigation. Ramirez says police are still not sure what happened leading up to the double shooting. A knife covered in blood was recovered at the scene and Ramirez says investigators don't know yet if the double shooting followed some type of stabbing incident.

Ramirez says officers had a problem with crowd control at the shooting scene. Two people were taken into custody for interfering in a police investigation.

The names of the shooting victims have not been released.
