Monday kicks off hot, humid work week with temps in the 90s

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -

Weather Authority Alan Longstreet says we'll see 90 degrees for the first time this summer as Monday marks the start of a hot and humid work week.

Longstreet says we'll see plenty of hazy sunshine Monday as temps soar into the upper 80s by the afternoon hours. By 5 p.m., we'll hit the 90-degree mark. Add in the humidity and Longstreet says it will feel like the mid-90s.

The hot and humid theme will continue through the week as high temps reach the 90s through Friday before a cold front moves in time for the weekend.
