An 18-wheeler hauling a tank full of compressed liquid nitrogen overturned Monday afternoon on an Interstate 20 ramp.
Backups due to the wreck, which happened at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, lasted into rush hour.
When the container flipped and struck the ground it began leaking, shutting down the ramp from westbound I-20 to northhbound Spur 408.
The compressed liquid turns to gas when it comes into contact with the air and is not considered dangerous to drivers.
There were no reported injuries.
