Iraq War vet represents Rangers at MLB All-Star Game

Posted: Updated:

An Iraq War veteran will represent the Texas Rangers in a unique way at Tuesday night's MLB All-Star Game in New York.

Retired Marine Zach Briseno won a trip to the All-Star Game as a part of the Tribute to Heroes program, sponsored by MLB and People Magazine.

Briseno is such a big Rangers fan he had his prosthetic legs specially designed with the Rangers' claw and antler logos.

Briseno and his fiancé Stacey Hernandez attended Monday night's Home Run Derby at Citi Field and he will return to the stadium on Tuesday for a special pre-game ceremony.

Briseno also hopes to meet Rangers All-Stars Yu Darvish, Nelson Cruz and Joe Nathan.
