Fort Worth State Senator Wendy Davis remained non-committal on a possible run for governor at a luncheon on Wednesday.
"Still working to try to make the decision about what's best for me and hopefully we'll make a decision that's in the best interest of people in the state of Texas," said Davis. "We'll see, time will tell."
Davis and State Rep. Bill Zedler were speakers at the Kennedale Chamber of Commerce luncheon, an event long planned before Davis' hours-long filibuster of an abortion bill during the first special session.
The two discussed accomplishments from the Texas Legislature during the regular session and answered questions from the audience.
Davis heads to Washington D.C. next week for fundraisers – one sponsored by the Davis campaign and the other by a group of US Senate Democrats.
