Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

On Friday's Chat Room, Sun-Times Splash Editor Susanna Negovan, FOX 32's Bill Zwecker and GDC anchor Anna Davlantes discussed the Austin police district's new anti-violence experiment with FOX 32's Patrick Elwood.

Next, they touched on what's next for the sergeant that released photos of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev during his arrest, in retaliation to Rolling Stone magazine's decision to put him on the cover, with GDC anchor Dawn Hasbrouck.

They also discussed the 2013 Emmy nominations, including leading nominees, big snubs and Netflix's "House of Cards" making Emmy history, as well as Bill Rancic's strong words about modern-day parenting, telling Larry King that most parents these days are "raising a bunch of wimps."

Luxury consignment service eDrop-Off founder Corri McFadden and founder of Beauty on Call and GlossedandFound.com Stacey Roney joined the Chat Room to talk beauty. They touched on more affordable ways to keep your skin looking young and fresh, travelling essentials, Rihanna's black to gray ombre and Refinery 29's shopping mistakes and fixes.
