Four dead in Glen Rose head-on vehicle collision

Four people died and seven people were injured after a multiple vehicle accident outside Glen Rose on Friday afternoon.

A sedan and minivan reportedly hit each other head-on about 7 miles west of Glen Rose, resulting in the injuries. The wreck occurred on Highway 67 near the Somervell and Erath County.

Three people in the minivan died: Mark Burns, 57, Darla Burns, 53, and Wanda Burns, 90. Three children in the minivan, ages 16, 15, 14, were injured and taken to nearby hospitals.

One person died in the sedan: Lydia Perez, 47. Four others in the car were injured and taken to various hospitals.

JPS Hospital in Ft. Worth said Friday afternoon they have three patients from the wreck: an adult male in fair condition, an adult female in critical condition and an adolescent female in fair condition.

Cook Children's Hospital said they had two youths from the wreck, but did not release ages or their condition.
