NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

A woman who went into a Long Island 7-Eleven for a cup of coffee ended up being sexually attacked, according to police.

Suffolk County Police say it happened at about 2 a.m. on Tuesday at a 7-Eleven on Laurel Road in East Northport.

Police say after the 48-year-old woman paid for her coffee, she was followed outside by Juan Buesoramos.  They say that Buesoramos, 25, grabbed the woman and began inappropriately touching her. The woman struggled to get away but police say she was prevented by Buesoramos who then began pushing her towards the back of the building.

During the struggle police say the attacker attempted to kiss the victim several times and exposed himself. The woman was able to break free and alerted the 7-Eleven clerk that she was attacked.

Police found a man matching the attacker's description at about 7:25 a.m. and made an arrest.

Buesoramos, of East Northport, was charged with sexual abuse and criminal possession of a forged instrument. Police say he gave a counterfeit United States Resident Alien Card to officers while he was being interviewed.

Buesoramos was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Central Islip.
