PHOENIX -

An innocent woman was killed Monday two drivers started chasing each other during a road rage incident, according to police. One of those drivers lost control, hitting a minivan and killing the woman inside.

Rosalba Jauregui-Rojas was a mother of three.

She and her husband were on their way to register their 15-year-old son for high school. On the way there an SUV ran a red light and crashed straight into them.

"She was lovable, she was a sweet woman, she was just my world, she was everything," says Jesus Garcia, the victim's son.

15-year-old Jesus Garcia's world was shattered when his mom, 41-year-old Jauregui-Rojas, became the innocent victim of road rage. His dad was also hurt in the crash.

"Why why, my parents, why did this happen to my family, why me?"

It happened Monday afternoon near 27th Avenue and Baseline. A silver Mazda hit a Trailblazer from behind. Police say that Mazda took off and the Trailblazer started chasing after it, running a red light and losing control, crashing into Rosalba's minivan. She has three sons.

"She always wanted me to be the best, to take care of my brother, my dad," says son Ulises Garcia.

That's what Jauregui-Rojas' sons are doing -- caring for their dad. He's still in the hospital.

"He has broken ribs, his face is all messed up, it's just hard seeing him like that."

The driver of the Trailblazer, a woman, had three teens in her car. They weren't hurt. She could still face charges. Investigators are also looking for the driver of the silver Mazda. He got away.

"I want justice for my mom, it just isn't fair," says Jesus Garcia.

Anyone with information on this case should call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.

An account is set up at Chase Bank under the name of Rosalba Jauregui-Rojas.
