Eagles Fans Watch Open Training

The Eagles are marching to the beat of a different drum this year. First year coach Chip Kelly is ushering in a new Eagles era.

He's a fan favorite for now.

"Chip's the savior," says a fan. "Andy is gone."

"I'm just excited for new regime; you know what I mean," says another fan.

"I'm going to say, I just pray to God," says another fan. "We can't get worse than what we did last year. We can't be worse."

30,000 cheering fans showed up at the Lincoln Financial Field, not for a game, but for practice.

"It speaks to Eagles passion: the passion people have for the team is unlike no other," says a fan. "They're excited."

Excited to see legends of the Linc., like Brian Westbrook and Donovan McNabb, grace the gridiron again.

"Exciting part is for me is to come out and be able to give back to them and show that I care and love game and the fact that they were there for us," says Donovan McNabb.

The new Chip Kelly era has started at the Linc. Some fans hope that'll include a new starter taking snaps.

Some fans say Barkley, others say Foles. Whatever the opinion, it seems that everyone is ready for a whole new blood.

    Summer is not over just yet!  Hot and humid conditions much of the week with temps in the 90's and upper 80's.

     

     

     

     

    Summer is not over just yet! Today will be very hot and humid with high temperatures in the low to mid 90s and mostly sunny skies.  A cold front will bring some thunderstorms tonight, some of which may be severe.

    Wednesday will be less humid but it remains warm all week long.
