Kiss FM announced Friday the Kidd Kraddick in the Morning show will return to the air on Monday.
The announcement came the same day family and friends gathered to remember the Dallas at a private funeral for the radio host at Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Arlington.
Big Al Mack and other DJs with Kraddick's morning radio show were among the people in attendance.
Kiss FM said the show's morning crew gathered Thursday to map out the future of the program.
"They are all excited about continuing Kidd's legacy and are ready to get back on the air. Monday's show, although slightly different, is going to be funny, topical and emotional. It is the same show you fell in love with when we signed on," the statement said.
"Yes, the name is still Kidd Kraddick In the Morning. Kidd worked hard to build this brand, and the bottom line is that the show is Kidd Kraddick In the Morning. We ask that you be patient with the new version of the show and allow it some time to grow."
Kraddick died last Saturday while in New Orleans for a golf tournament to raise money for Kidd's Kids. An initial autopsy showed Kraddick suffered from heart disease, but a cause of death is still pending.
A public memorial service will be held at a yet to be determined date.
People throughout North Texas on Friday took time to donate to Kidd's Kids.
Kiss FM declared Friday "Kidd Kraddick Kidd's Kids Day" to honor the late Dallas radio host and raise funds for the charity.
