Getting in and out of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport
should be faster with the debut of new toll plazas.
TollTag users will have more automated toll booths to use and
get discounts on parking through a new program unveiled by airport officials on
Wednesday. The program goes into effect on Aug. 26.
"Motorists with an NTTA TollTag will simply pull up to
the automated kiosk, wait for the gate arm to raise and drive through," said
Jeff Fegan, DFW Airport CEO in a statement. "TollTag customers will also save a
little money on their transactions as well."
Drivers who use a TollTag will save $2 per day on terminal
parking and $1 when passing through DFW Airport. Customers will need to contact
NTTA officials to activate the DFW Airport discounts.
Drivers without a TollTag can still use credit/debit cards
or cash at booths staffed by airport employees.
