Two suspects have been arrested in the stabbing death of a Dallas man who was trying to break up a fight outside of a club. Part of the incident was caught on tape.
Terrell Evan Cowherd died after police said he was stabbed in the chest and wrist.
He was allegedly trying to break up a fight that erupted near a strip of bars on Greenville Avenue and Sears Street shortly before 2 a.m. Saturday.
Police said Cowherd was among a group of witnesses to the fight. When he stepped in to try to stop it, police 23-year-old Jerry Brown held him while 23-year-old Julian Terrence Martin, Jr. stabbed him.
Someone with a cell phone took video of the incident and shared it with police.
Family member who saw Martin's face on the video broadcast by news media encouraged him to turn himself in to investigators Sunday afternoon.
Brown was also arrested Sunday.
Both are now charged with murder.
A third suspect is still being sought by police. Investigators said they've identified him, but he hasn't been arrested yet.
