Twin brothers in Hunt County were recognized over the weekend for their stellar reading skills.
Seven-year-olds Evan and Ivan Bault live in West Tawakoni. This summer they each read 541 books for the summer reading program.
The West Tawakoni library director called the boys special.
"For them to pick up a second log is amazing. But for them to ask for repeated logs to continue reading even after the program ends is amazing," Vicki Wallace said.
Their parents said they are extremely proud, especially since they primarily speak Chinese.
"I was worried that they weren't going to pick up on English that good because they spoke mainly Chinese. And within a couple of months of kindergarten they had picked it up from me and the kids and everything. So they were fine," said Lynn Bault, their father.
The West Tawakoni library honored the brothers with prizes for their accomplishment and to encourage their passion for reading.
