Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

On Thursday's Chat Room, forensic and clinical psychologist Dr. Daniela Schreier, Sun-Times Splash Editor Susanna Negovan and Good Day Chicago anchors Dawn Hasbrouck and Anna Davlantes discussed Bradley Manning announcing he'd like to live as a woman named "Chelsea Manning," one day after being sentenced to 35 years in prison for sending classified material to WIkileaks.

The ladies also discussed Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer's photo in the September issue of Vogue magazine, where she shows that business women can let their hair down too. Production has shut down for the entire porn industry in Los Angeles after an actor tested positive for HIV and prompted a moratorium on filmmaking.

Women Inventorz Network co-founder Dhana Cohen and Mercury Method founder Lara Hudson joined the Chat Room to discuss entrepreneurial women, how they get their start, how to launch your own unique products, marketing services or lifestyles versus products and how they maintain a level of success.

University of Chicago Booth School of Business economist Prof. Emily Oster also joined the Chat Room to discuss her new book, "Expecting Better: Why the Conventional Pregnancy Wisdom is Wrong – and What You Really Need to Know." The book presents an unconventional point of view on pregnancy that has many moms, doctors and the public at large talking.
