MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -

Minneapolis police are investigating a double homicide after four people were shot in an alley between the 2600 blocks of Cedar and 18th avenues.

Police confirm that two men were found dead at the scene. An adult woman and another believed to be a juvenile in her late teens were taken to HCMC, but there was no word on the condition of either victim.

The victims were found after a shots fired call was reported at 8:30 p.m. While officers were en route to the scene, a second 911 caller reported someone had been shot in the alley.

Bullet holes could be seen in an SUV parked in the alley while police investigated.

No one is in custody in connection with the shooting; however, investigators do not believe the shooting was random and say the public is not in danger.

Anyone with any information regarding this incident is asked to call the TIPS Line at 612-692 TIPS (8477).
