Southlake firefighters rescued a woman from a burning house around 4 a.m. Thursday morning.
They arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the garage of the two-story home.
They found a frightened woman upstairs and brought her down on a ladder.
They also found and save as many as 30 pets, many of them rabbits.
Firefighters said it appears the fire started in stacks of hay kept in the garage for the animals.
