A HEAT ADVISORY continues for the Dallas/Ft. Worth area thru Sunday afternoon. Overnight lows are expected to be in the upper 70s while heat index values will be around 105. The long range forecast suggest that a cold front may tease us a little bit by Monday giving us a slight chance for a few showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures may come down a few degrees, but look for afternoon highs to remain well above normal for this time of year. After Labor Day, it appears that rain chances will be quite slim as temperatures remain in the upper 90s. Have a great and safe Labor Day weekend everyone, and be smart with this dangerous heat. The fall season can't be too far away.
