Girl, 13, missing from South Side

UPDATE: Artrice James, 13, returned home safely Sunday evening.

A 13-year-old girl went missing from the South Side on Saturday, police said.

Artrice James, of the 7900 block of South Paulina Street, was last seen Saturday getting on a southbound CTA bus at the intersection of West 79th and South Halsted streets, according to a missing person alert issued by police.

James, who also goes by "Little Lulu" and "Mama," was described as black, standing 5-feet and weighing 85 pounds. She has a light complexion, brown eyes and sand-brown braided hair worn in a bun, police said.

She was last seen wearing a gray Spongebob Squarepants shirt, bleached blue jeans and dark blue polka-dot boots. She was also carrying a pink and black purse, police said.James is often in the area of 78th and Ada streets and 82nd and Bishop streets, police said.
