A man and woman are dead after a  murder-suicide in Arlington on Monday.

Police got a call about the domestic dispute at a home in the 6800 block of Biondi Trail, which is in southwest Arlington, at about 5:15 a.m. on Monday.

Responding officers found 32-year-old Rafeal Berrera and 40-year-old Luz Alvarez wounded inside the home.

Both were taken to Methodist Mansfield Medical Center where Alvarez was pronounced dead.

Berrera was subsequently taken to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth in critical condition and later died.

The medical examiner determined Alvarez was murdered and Berrera committed suicide.

Alvarez' teenage son and adult daughter live in the home, but were not injured in the incident.
